Wäscheklammer-Notitzblock-Halters. Endlich mal was, wo wir nicht heuchlerisch falsche Begeisterung vortäuschen müssen...

Mad World

by Gary Jules

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world ... mad world
Enlarging your world
Mad world

Denk also daran: Gönne dich dir selbst!

Hurt

by Johnny Cash

I hurt myself today to see if I still feel.
I focus on the pain, the only thing that´s real.
The needle tears a hole, the old familiar sting.
Try to kill it all away, but I remember everything.

What have I become my sweetest friend?
Everyone I know goes away in the end.
And you could have it all. My empire of dirt.
I will let you down. I will make you hurt.

I wear this crown of thorns on my liar´s chair.
Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair.
Beneath the stains of time the feelings disappear.
You are someone else. I am still right here.

What have I become my sweetest friend?
Everyone I know goes away in the end.
And you could have it all. My empire of dirt.
I will let you down. I will make you hurt.

If I could start again, a million miles away,
I would keep myself. I would find a way.

Patch's Prescription: 10 Ideas
1. The world's richest 360 people have the same amount of money as the poorest 2.4 billion people.
2. The most revolutionary act you can commit in today's society is to be publicly happy.
3. "When it's all over, I want to say all my life I was a bride married to amazement." — Mary Oliver
4. "You have to let the small animal of your body love what it loves." — Mary Oliver
5. "Life is trouble only death is not, to be alive is to undo your belt and look for trouble." — Kazantzakis
6. "To mourn a mischief that is past and gone is the next way to draw new mischief on." — Shakespeare
7. "In every job that must be done there is an element of fun; you find that fun and snap, the job's a game." — Mary Poppins
8. "Only a life lived for others is worthwhile." — Albert Einstein
9. "Life doesn't cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh." — G.B. Shaw
10. With passion, anything is possible.

Patch's Prescription: 10 Everyday Actions
1. Pick up all the trash in an area in your hometown; be its guardian. Tell others about it.
2. Be friendly to everyone at all times; experiment outrageously.
3. Offer a shoulder or foot rub in any environment.
4. Always speak up for justice, no matter how much it costs.
5. Go once a week on a "house call" to a nursing home to cheer people up as a friend.
6. Turn off your TV and become interesting. Perform yourself.
7. Consider being silly in public. Sing out loud. Wear funny stuff.
8. Find ways to need a whole lot less money; share beyond belief.
9. Have potlucks frequently, with neighbors, co-workers, strangers. Work toward living in extended families.
10. Take your vacations in your own hometown and spend the money working on projects there that help build community.

s-it!

Kommentiere Computerabstürze nie in Gegenwart der eigenen Nachkommenschaft. Sonst kommen Fragen wie:
„Warum ist der Computer ein böder Hund? Was ist fak?
